Christmas is coming early this year when Adult Swim and RockStar Games come together to deliver free music downloads to fans through a unique co-branded experience. Starting Dec. 7, individuals can go online to AdultSwim.com to download a free collection of music selected by RockStar Games and Adult Swim. Two of the selections “Hello Miss” and “Is That You God?” will also be available on the RockStar Games’ Social Club Web site, www.rockstargames.com/beaterator/#/socialclub, a community where online users can create music, share the tracks and rate each other’s work. The promotion will run through the end of 2009.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is devoting the second of its ongoing series of one-hour A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES specials to THE GIGANTIC WORLD OF EPICS, premiering Sunday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m. (ET). The special will premiere as part of a 24-hour salute to epics that will include such films as Doctor Zhivago (1965), Ben-Hur (1959) and the 1927 and 1961 versions of King of Kings.Read More

When Turner Classic Movies (TCM) launches the first-ever TCM Classic Film Festival in April 2010 in Hollywood, the spectacular events will include the world premiere of a newly restored edition of George Cukor’s music-filled 1954 drama A Star is Born; the North American premiere of a restored version of Fritz Lang’s 1927 science-fiction silent masterpiece Metropolis; and a 50th anniversary screening of a newly restored version of the influential French classic Breathless, the film that launched Jean-Luc Godard’s career.
