Biography


TURNER SPORTS

• Ralph Sheheen will serve as a NASCAR pit reporter for TNT’s 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series coverage.


CAREER

• Sheheen also serves as an announcer for AMA motocross and supercross on the SPEED Channel, as well as an announcer for many other minor racing series' on the Speed Channel.

• Sheheen's work at SPEED included anchoring SPEEDNews, and being the lap-by-lap announcer for the World of Outlaws' Knoxville Nationals.

• A veteran broadcaster, Sheheen’s broadcasting career began in 1988, when he did called an IMSA sports car race for ESPN. He has worked for ESPN2, FSN, TNN (now Spike TV) and CBS.

• While at TNN, Sheheen occasionally anchored the racing news show, NASCAR RaceDay, and at CBS, he served as a pit reporter for the network’s Cup Series coverage, including the Daytona 500.

• In 2005, Sheheen provided lap-by-lap analysis for CBS' telecasts of the San Marino Grand Prix, the Spanish Grand Prix, the Canadian Grand Prix and the German Grand Prix.
