Biography

TURNER SPORTS

• Snider will serve as a pit reporter for TNT’s 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series coverage. This year marks his 11th season as a TNT NASCAR announcer, calling races for the network since 1998.

• Snider has also served as a sideline reporter for TNT’s NBA Playoffs coverage.

CAREER

• From 1998 – 2002 Snider served as a reporter for CNN/Sports Illustrated NASCAR, filing regular reports from every NASCAR Cup Series event.

• Since 1995, Snider has worked as a pit reporter for the Motor Racing Network's (MRN) NASCAR radio broadcasts. MRN is syndicated to more than 500 affiliate stations across the United States.

• From 1994-97 he served as a reporter and associate producer for ESPN's "NASCAR Today."

• Snider previously served as a sports reporter for WYFF, the NBC affiliate in Greenville, S.C. from 1993-94. Before that, he worked for WGHP in Greensboro, N.C. (1991-93).

PERSONAL

• Snider graduated from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte with a degree in political science.
