Release Date: 10/15/2012 ALCS on TBS Averaging 6.1 Million Total Viewers Yesterday afternoon’s Yankees/Tigers telecast (ALCS Game 2 from 4-7:31 p.m. ET) averaged a 3.1 U.S. household rating and 5,040,000 total viewers. TBS’ coverage was up 67 percent among total viewers (vs. 3,021,000) and 63 percent in average rating (vs. 1.9) over last year’s NLCS Game 2 between the Cardinals/Brewers. Locally, yesterday’s ALCS Game 2 generated a 26.2 metered market rating in Detroit, the highest-rated MLB Postseason game in the market this year, and a 9.7 in New York.
