Gaelan Connell
“Wyatt”

Gaelan Connell plays Wyatt, the lovable geek in Level Up. Wyatt is an enthusiastic, idealistic teenager who’s a bit awkward. His only recreation is playing online fantasy video games like Conqueror of All Worlds.  When he and two of his classmates, Lyle and Dante, unwittingly open a portal from a video game into the real world, allowing characters from the game to start leaking into real life, the trio must put aside their social differences in order to play the game for real and defeat evil.

As a 10-year-old, Connell appeared in Lasse Hallström’s Chocolat,starring Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp. Connell’s other credits include director John Waters’ A Dirty Shame and an appearance in an episode of Law and Order. He also appeared alongside Lisa Kudrow and Vanessa Hudgens in the 2009 film, Bandslam.

Connell is the lead singer and plays guitar for his band “Exist”, with two independently produced albums, “Exist” and “Want. Need. Hurt.” He is also working with a new band called “Sweet 16.” In addition, Connell has started his own film company, Optimal Entertainment Inc., for which he writes, produces and performs.

Growing up in Maryland, Connell has worked steadily in theater in the Baltimore and Washington DC area, done voiceover work and is an accomplished cellist. Connell speaks French and his interests include fencing, chess, horseback riding, sailing and skiing.
 
Jessie T. Usher
“Lyle”
  
Jessie T. Usher plays Lyle, the popular jock in Level Up. Lyle is the quarterback of the football team and all around big man on campus with a secret passion for online fantasy games. When he and two of his classmates, Wyatt and Dante, unwittingly open a portal from a video game into the real world, allowing characters from the game to start leaking into real life, the trio must put aside their social differences in order to play the game for real and defeat evil.

In 2003, Usher and his family moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. He has since appeared in Hannah Montana, Lincoln Heights, Criminal Minds, and Without a Trace.

Usher was a top student, graduating high school at the age of 15 with honors as the class salutatorian. In college he went straight to the dean’s list studying the art of culinary and earning the honor of being a member of the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society.

The 19-year-old was born in Maryland and is the youngest of two children. Usher enjoys playing video games, martial arts and hip hop.
 
Connor del Rio 
“Dante”

Connor del Rio plays Dante, the rebellious troubelmaker in Level Up. Dante is a fearless and confident 15-year-old with an impulsive defiant streak and a passion for online fantasy games. When he and two of his classmates, Wyatt and Lyle, unwittingly open a portal from a video game into the real world, allowing characters from the game to start leaking into real life, the trio must put aside their social differences in order to play the game for real and defeat evil.

As an up-and-coming actor, del Rio has appeared in the films The Dilemma and a remake of the classic horror movie A Nightmare on Elm Street.
del Rio is also skilled in stand-up comedy, improvisation and guitar. Hailing from Chicago, del Rio has performed in various sketch shows at the famed Second City, the world's premiere comedy club/theatre and school of improvisation.

Aimee Carrero 
“Angie”

Aimee Carrero plays Angie in Level Up. Angie is a cute, bright, impatient and inquisitive teenage girl. When fellow high school classmates Wyatt, Dante and Lyle start hanging out together right around the same time bizarre things start happening around town, Angie discovers the three boys unknowingly opened a portal, allowing characters from the video game to start leaking into the real world. Angie joins the group to help send the bad guys back into the game.

Carrero was born in the Dominican Republic and got her start in acting guest starring on Fox’s The Mentalist, TNT’s Men of a Certain Age and ABC Family’s Greek
 
Since then, Carrero has been seen in a recurring arc on ABC Family’s Lincoln Heights and features such as Skateland and Fox’s Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.

Lonny Ross 
“Max”

Lonny Ross plays Max the eccentric but reclusive, genius video game designer in Level Up. As the creator of the popular online fantasy game, Conqueror of All Worlds, he unknowingly unleashes a portal from a video game into the real world, allowing characters from the game to start leaking into the real world.

Lonny Ross is a comedy actor 
and writer. He was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for his work as Josh Girard on the NBC Sitcom 30 Rock.He has appeared in the films, Good Luck Chuck, The Rocker, College Road Trip and Labor Pains. He has been a guest on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Last Call with Carson Daly.

In November 2010, the Independent Film Channel announced they were developing an original scripted half-hour comedy series entitled Chosen Guns, which Ross is writing and executive producing.

Ross grew up in New York and attended Wantagh High School in Wantagh, New York.
