truTV Starts Production on New Episodes of Hit Series Guinness World Records® Unleashed

truTV will go into production on brand new episodes of its hit series Guinness World Records® Unleashed on June 19 at the historic Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. Hosted by Dan Cortese, the series features daring and fearless record hopefuls as they attempt to secure their place in history by breaking some truly outrageous world records. The new episodes are set to air on truTV later this year.

truTV Lights Up Summer with Three New Series and Eight Returning Hits

It's going to be an outrageous summer at truTV this year, with three brand new series and the return of several popular favorites. The lineup includes the two series launches: Kentucky Bidders, a look at a family-run auction house in small-town Kentucky premiering July 8, and Cash Dome Pawn, a Miami-based series that will mark the latest entry in truTV's pawnshop series franchise when it premieres Aug. 13. Meanwhile, the hilarious new series Top 20 Funniest is in the midst of its first season on Thursday nights. And truTV will present a summer-themed collection of funny ads from around the globe in a new Funniest Commercials special on June 27.

Chris Linn Named President, Head of Programming, truTV

Chris Linn has joined Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. as president, head of programming, truTV. In this role, he is responsible for all programming on the network, including the development and production of original programs. Linn, who comes to Turner from MTV, will also oversee all marketing, digital initiatives and strategic planning for truTV.
