Dallas – New series coming in summer 2012
The one and only Dallas is back with more great drama. J.R., Bobby and Sue Ellen Ewing return to Southfork with their arsenal of secrets, schemes and betrayals. This time, they’re joined by the next generation of Ewings, who take ambition and deception to a new level. The battle for power, love and Southfork erupts in the new Dallas on TNT next summer. The exciting drama stars Josh Henderson as John Ross, the son of J.R. and Sue Ellen Ewing; Jesse Metcalfe as Christopher, Bobby’s adopted son; Jordana Brewster as Elena Ramos, John Ross’ girlfriend; Julie Gonzalo as Rebecca Sutter, Christopher’s fiancee; and Brenda Strong as Bobby’s wife, Ann. They are joined by the original series’ iconic stars: Patrick Duffy as Bobby Ewing, Linda Gray as Sue Ellen Ewing and Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing. Shot on location in the title city, Dallas comes to TNT from Warner Horizon Television, with pilot writer Cynthia Cidre and Michael M. Robin serving as executive producers. TNT’s Dallas is based upon the series created by David Jacobs.
Perception – New series coming in summer 2012
TNT’s newest original drama series stars Emmy® and Screen Actors Guild Award® winner Eric McCormack as Dr. Daniel Pierce, an eccentric neuroscientist who uses his unique outlook and expertise to help the federal government crack difficult cases. Pierce’s intimate knowledge of human behavior and masterful understanding of the mind are matched by his equally odd and imaginative view of the world. Also starring are Rachael Leigh Cook as FBI agent Kate Moretti, Pierce’s former student and the person responsible for recruiting him to work for the government; Arjay Smith as Max Lewicki, Pierce’s teaching assistant who has spent nine years at college; and Kelly Rowan as Natalie Vincent, Pierce’s best friend and confidante. Perception was created by executive producer Kenneth Biller and co-executive producer Mike Sussman, with McCormack serving as producer. The series comes to TNT from ABC Studios.
Major Crimes – New series coming in summer 2012
This all-new drama series is ready to take television's favorite squad of detectives into bold new territory. Two-time Oscar® nominee Mary McDonnell will continue her role from The Closer as Los Angeles Police Captain Sharon Raydor. Major Crimes will focus on how the American justice system approaches the art of the deal and law-enforcement officers and prosecutors work together to score a conviction. Joining McDonnell are fellow Closer veterans G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Michael Paul Chan, Raymond Cruz and Phillip P. Keene, with guest appearances by Jon Tenney, Robert Gossett and Jonathan Del Arco. The series also co-stars Graham Patrick Martin as a homeless juvenile and Kearran Giovanni as an ambitious undercover detective. Major Crimes is produced by The Shephard/Robin Company, in association with Warner Bros. Television, with The Closer's James Duff, Greer Shephard and Michael M. Robin serving as executive producers.
The Great Escape – New series coming in summer 2012
This fast-paced, nail-biting competition series from Elise Doganieri and Bertram van Munster, the Emmy®-winning producers of The Amazing Race, drops ordinary people into the middle of their own epic action/adventure movie. Each week, Rich Eisen (NFL Total Access), hosts as three pairs of players compete for a cash prize by escaping from such locations as a seven-story castle, a deserted island, a sinking ship or a maximum-security prison. Players must use their wits, skills and whatever tools they can find to overcome obstacles, evade pursuers and make their way to freedom. The Great Escape, TNT's first-ever reality competition series, comes to TNT from Fox Television Studios, Imagine Entertainment, The Hochberg Ebersol Company and Profiles Television Productions. The series was created by Justin Hochberg and Charlie Ebersol, who are executive-producing with Doganieri, van Munster, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo.

Southland – Season 4 airing Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)
This critically acclaimed drama series takes viewers directly to the streets of LA to present an intensely personal, first-person look at cops and detectives on the beat. The extraordinary show – starring Michael Cudlitz, Shawn Hatosy, Regina King and Ben McKenzie – has redefined the police drama genre with a raw, authentic look at the lives and work of detectives and beat cops. Special guest star Lucy Liu will appear throughout the season as a member of the LAPD. In its third season, Southland grew its audience by 8% over the second season. Southland is from John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Created by Emmy winner Ann Biderman, the series is executive-produced by Chris Chulack and John Wells, Emmy winners for their work on ER. Chulack is also a primary director of the series.
The Closer – Final six episodes coming summer 2012
TNT’s The Closer, starring Emmy winner Kyra Sedgwick, will be back this winter as the blockbuster series’ seven-season run comes to an end. This year, 2011 Emmy nominee and two-time Oscar® nominee Mary McDonnell has joined the cast of The Closer as Capt. Sharon Raydor, the role she will continue to play in TNT’s upcoming new series Major Crimes. In its seventh season, The Closer has averaged more than 8.6 million viewers, while its performance among key adult demos are up significantly over last season. The Closer will return to wrap up its seven-season run with six episodes in summer 2012, followed by the premiere of Major Crimes. The Closer is produced for TNT by The Shephard/Robin Company, in association with Warner Bros. Television. It was created by James Duff, who serves as executive producer with Greer Shephard, Michael M. Robin, Rick Wallace and Sedgwick.
Rizzoli & Isles – Season 3 coming summer 2012
Topping the charts for the second consecutive year as basic cable’s most-watched drama, Rizzoli & Isles will return this winter with Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander as Boston’s top crime-solving duo. Developed for television by executive producer Janet Tamaro and based on characters created by best-selling crime novelist Tess Gerritsen, Rizzoli & Isles is currently averaging 8.9 million viewers for its second season. The series is produced for TNT by Warner Horizon Television, Janet Tamaro’s Hurdler Productions and Bill Haber’s Ostar Productions. Tamaro and Haber serve as executive producers, along with Joel Fields. The Closer’s Michael M. Robin is a consulting producer.
Leverage – Season 5 coming summer 2012
Television’s coolest gang of thieves, grifters and con artists are ready to freeze out the bad guys this winter as this fast-paced, light-hearted caper series returns to wrap up its fourth exciting season. Academy Award® winner Timothy Hutton stars, along with Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge. Leverage premiered in 2008 and has averaged more than 4.8 million viewers in its fourth season, up 10% over last season. Leverage is produced by Devlin’s Electric Entertainment, with Dean Devlin and creators John Rogers and Chris Downey serving as executive producers.
Falling Skies – Season 2 coming in summer 2012
This epic saga from DreamWorks Television and executive producer Steven Spielberg takes place in the aftermath of an all-out invasion by an alien military force. Noah Wyle stars as Tom Mason, a Boston history professor and the father of three sons, must put his extensive knowledge of military history to the test as second in command of a regiment of resistance fighters protecting a large group of civilian survivors. Falling Skies also stars Moon Bloodgood as Dr. Ann Glass, a pediatrician who has become the survivors’ primary physician; Will Patton as Colonel Weaver, the gruff and emotionally scarred commander of the 2nd Massachusetts, the team of civilian-soldiers whose job it is to protect the survivors; and Drew Roy, Tom’s oldest son who is just about to turn 18. Falling Skies scored more than 6.9 million viewers in its first season and ranks as basic cable’s #1 new series for the year-to-date. The series also finished summer as basic cable’s #1 drama among key adult demos. In addition to Spielberg, Falling Skies is executive-produced by DreamWorks Television heads Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. Remi Aubuchon and Greg Beeman also serve as executive producers.
Franklin & Bash – Season 2 coming in summer 2012
This buddy lawyer series stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer as two young, fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants street lawyers who cause a seismic culture clash when they join a legendary, button-down law firm. Meyer plays Jared Franklin, who loves sticking it to authority every chance he gets. Gosselaar is Peter Bash, who has a knack for connecting with judge and jury. The series also stars Malcolm McDowell as Stanton Infeld, a Renaissance man and the patriarch of the law firm. Also starring are Dana Davis, Kumail Nanjiani, Reed Diamond and Garcelle Beauvais. Franklin & Bash averaged more than 3.9 million viewers in its first season, ranking among basic cable’s Top 10 new series of the summer. The show is produced by Four Sycamore Productions, Left Coast Productions and FanFare Productions in association Sony Pictures Television. Franklin & Bash is executive-produced by Jamie Tarses, Kevin Falls and Bill Chais.

Hornet’s Nest – Adapted from the novel by Patricia Cornwell – Coming in spring 2012
The chart-topping bestseller by America’s #1 crime novelist, Patricia Cornwell, comes to TNT with Sherry Stringfield and Virginia Madsen leading the cast. Robbie Amell, Michael Boatman and Michael Silver co-star in the first in this adaptation of the first novel in Cornwell’s series of mysteries featuring reporter Andy Brazil (Amell), Police Chief Judy Hammer (Madsen) and her top deputy, Virginia West (Stringfield). Boatman has been cast as Richard Panesa, and Silver will play Deputy Chief Adam Goode. Set in Charlotte, N.C., the story opens with everyone desperate to solve the latest crisis: a serial killer is specializing in out-of-town businessmen. Hammer and West make the murder investigation their top priority. But West is less than pleased when Hammer pairs her up with Brazil, a cub reporter assigned to cover the police department. Hornet’s Nest is being adapted by screenwriter Dee Johnson and directed by Millicent Shelton. Jim Head serves as executive producer, along with Cornwell.
