Cartoon Network Celebrates Summer at ATLANTIS

Cartoon Network will come to life this summer at Atlantis, Paradise Island resort in The Bahamas. Infused with family-fun, the summerfestivities will run May 25 – Sept. 3, 2012 promising even more Cartoon Network entertainment than last year. Guests can anticipate branded elements from the network’s top-rated and award-winning animated series Adventure Time including an Adventure Time themed poolside dive-in theater and a Cartoon Network, multi-brand character takeover of one of Atlantis’ most popular dining destinations, Seagrapes restaurant. Other one-of-a-kind experiences include: a costumed character parade through Marina Village featuring Cartoon Network’s much loved stars, advanced screenings of the new and highly anticipated Cartoon Network series Ben 10: Omniverse, a huge star-studded concert event featuring Gym Class Heroes to be held on June 1, and guests are invited to participate in the Cartoon Network Studios Fantasy Camp, occurring in early August, featuring members from the Emmy Award-winning studio.

Cartoon Network Announces Live Streaming Across Digital and Online Platforms

Cartoon Network, television’s #1 network with boys 6-11, announced today that it will soon begin streaming its on-air content live across multiple platforms, including online at CartoonNetwork.com and for mobile viewers on the iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad. Presented as part of Cartoon Network’s advertising Upfront this morning in Los Angeles, the announcement further expands the network’s TV Everywhere strategy to provide content for viewers on all screens.

Cartoon Network Picks Up Kids Sketch Comedy Series from Creator Nick Cannon

Cartoon Network announced today that it has picked up an untitled kids sketch comedy series from entertainer Nick Cannon. The series is a live-action, half-hour, sketch comedy show rooted in raw mischief, high energy and slapstick humor. You’ll never know what will happen next! Some of the silliest kids you know will make up this wild comedy troupe led by teen stars Jeremy Shada (Adventure Time), Shameik Moore (Joyful Noise), Brandon Soo Hoo (Enders Game, Tropic Thunder), Shauna Case (American Horror Story) and Chanelle Peloso (Level Up).

What Time Is It? Time for Season Four of Adventure Time!

Adventure Time, Cartoon Network’s hit animated comedy series returns with its fourth season on Monday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT). Recently nominated for its second Primetime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Short-format Animated Program as well as an Annie Award for Best Animated Television Production for Children, Adventure Time has become a genuine ratings and pop culture phenomenon since its April 2010 debut. Most recently season three of the series earned the distinction of being the #1 program on Monday nights (7-9 p.m.) on all of television with kids 2-11, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Celebrates Ben 10 Week March 19-24

Ben 10, the ultimate teen superhero and global superstar, takes over Cartoon Network with an entire week of on-air and online content beginning Monday, March 19. All week long, fans can start their day with special episodes from every Ben 10 series airing each morning at 6:30 a.m. (ET, PT) then catch their favorite episodes of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien at 4 p.m. (ET, PT). In addition, CartoonNetwork.com launches the next Ben 10 Game, The Mystery of the Mayan Sword. All this leads up to the U.S. television premiere of the all-new CGI movie, Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens on Friday, March 23 at 7 p.m. (ET, PT). Following the movie, which will also premiere on Cartoon Network around the world throughout the spring, Ben 10 fans will get their first-ever look at the much anticipated brand-new series, Ben 10: Omniverse, premiering later this year on Cartoon Network.

Level Up Debuts as Cartoon Network’s #1 Live-Action Series Premiere
In Network History

The series premiere of Level Up (Tuesday, Jan. 24, 8-8:30 p.m.), Cartoon Network’s newest live-action comedy, beat all previous network records as the #1 live-action series premiere, charting double and triple-digit delivery gains across all targeted kids and boys demos vs. the same time period last year, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. The new series, featuring CG-animation effects and characters, also scored as the #1 telecast in its time period on all television—broadcast and cable—among kids 2-11, boys 2-11, boys 6-11 and boys 9-14. It also ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14 on all television. More than two million total viewers tuned into the half-hour series premiere.
