Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. and Verizon today announced a comprehensive long-term distribution agreement that will deliver content from Turner’s leading portfolio of networks to FiOS TV customers, across a variety of screens, including television, PC, tablet and handheld devices. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
truTV has promoted two of its executives as part of a restructure of the network's leadership team under Chris Linn, truTV's new president, head of programming. Marissa Ronca has been promoted to senior vice president of development & original programming, heading up a newly combined team that covers original programming from development through production. Michael Lanzillotta has been elevated to senior vice president, general manager of truTV, providing business expertise to the direction and development of the network.
David Levy has been named president of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.) by Chairman and CEO Phil Kent, the company announced today. In his new role, which is effective immediately, Levy adds oversight of Turner’s domestic entertainment and animation & young adults networks and business portfolios to his current leadership of the company’s advertising sales, affiliate sales and sports units. Jennifer Dorian has been promoted to chief strategy officer for Turner Entertainment Networks (TEN), the division of Turner Broadcasting that includes TBS, TNT, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and truTV. Dorian, who most recently served as senior vice president of strategic development, will continue to work with network executives to create strategies that will strengthen and sustain the TEN brands and business in today's rapidly evolving media world.
Rachel Brill has been promoted to vice president of unscripted programming for TNT Originals. Based in Atlanta, Brill is responsible for supervising development of unscripted series, collaborating with directors and producers on developing new ideas, providing creative oversight of unscripted pilots from pre-production through production and post-production; and supervising the continued development of series once they've been greenlit.
Chris Linn has joined Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. as president, head of programming, truTV. In this role, he is responsible for all programming on the network, including the development and production of original programs. Linn, who comes to Turner from MTV, will also oversee all marketing, digital initiatives and strategic planning for truTV.

In this role, he is responsible for overseeing and driving all awareness and consumer engagement with the networks' shows and brands across all digital platforms, including digital design, editorial, project management and promotions.
